ABOUT ME

I started selling my work as a hobby over 30 years ago.  After struggling to be content with a number of full-time jobs, I decided to follow my heart and give up the guaranteed paycheck.  Though it took patience, it was the best choice I could have made.
I believe happiness and success is certain if you follow your heart in whatever you do.  I am very  fortunate to do what I love, working as an artist.
I love trying new mediums and elements to see where it takes me but my focus is primarily paper clay.

FEATURED ARTIST IN
EXHIBITIONS/SHOWS

I was honored to be a participating artist in Ghoultide Gathering 2016, Chelsea, Michigan.  The show was full of wonderful talent!  Sadly, Ghoultide Gathering producer, Scott Smith & Bill Gilmore has retired the show after 10 years of  great success.  The good news is, Jennie Helper-Takens, along with her husband,  Joe will be taking on a new event replacing Ghoultide Gathering with BEWITCHING PEDDLERS OF HALLOWEEN! The show will be held in the same location with many of the same artists along with a few great new artists as well!  I feel so honored once again to be invited to participate in Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween, September 30th, 2017 from 8am to 3pm, one day only!

Thank you to Halloween and Vine Producers for the invitation to participate in your show!  I regret I wasn't able to make it.  I know it would have been a great experience!
